Janice W. Tetreault

Janice W. Tetreault, 76, a resident of Little John Drive, passed away May 18, 2023 at her home. Janice was born in Hartford, CT on September 9, 1946 the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Olsen) Welch. She graduated from Windsor High School. She started her career as a tobacco worker, sewing tobacco. Janice worked as a secretary for the State of Connecticut Parks Division for 29 years. Previous to that she worked for Travelers Insurance for 9 years. She retired in February of 2001 and relocated to Vermont where she made additional friends and a particular friend, Benny. Janice enjoyed photographing flowers, was a great cook and in her earlier years she enjoyed embroidering and making greeting cards. With her husband Ted, she enjoyed traveling all over America and taking cruises to Mexico and the Bahamas. Her favorite place though, was at her home. Janice is survived by her husband Ted Tetreault whom she married in Windsor, CT in September 1967, and cousins Roger and Thomas Mitkoski. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Welch. Graveside services for Janice were held Thursday May 25, 2023 at 11am in the family lot in Dellwood Cemetery. There are no visiting hours.
