Jean Elaine Wilson

JEAN ELAINE WILSON, 85 of Newfane VT passed away on December 27, 2020 with her family by her side. Born October 19, 1935 in Manchester CT, she was the last of 7 siblings of Burton & Gertrude (Carey) Halladay and was a graduate from Brattleboro High School in 1953. Jean had been employed at Holstein, in Brattleboro and was Co-Owner of Rick Wilson Builder and The Newfane Greenhouse & Nursery. Jean leaves her husband (the love of her life) Richard A Wilson with whom she married on Jan 9th, 1960, in Brattleboro VT, her son Jay Wilson and wife Samantha, Grandsons- Eric Wilson (wife Emily), Andrew Wilson (wife Jenna), Christopher Wilson (girlfriend Honour Solari) & Justin Coleman (fiancée Brittany Bills),her great- grandsons, Riley, Josh & Liam, also another great grandson Henry (due in March) and many nieces and nephews. Jean was a member of the Newfane Congregational Church and there she was a member of the Bell Choir, she was also was very active in her community. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean's name can be made to the Newfane Congregational Church PO Box 27 Newfane, VT 05345 or the Newbrook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department PO Box 77 Newfane, VT 05345. There will be a Private Celebration of Life.
