Jeanne Macdougall

Jeanne Rae MacDougall, a resident of Castle Hill Road, passed away December 17, 2017 at her home. Jeanne was born in McKeesport, PA on May 7, 1942 the daughter of the late George and Jessie (Black) Rodgers. Jeanne was preceded in death by her late husband, Alan Miles MacDougall. Growing up in McKeesport she attended local schools and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Upon graduating, Jeanne worked for the United States State Department. She was very civically involved in Wilmington helping the Deerfield Valley Food Pantry, Friends of Historic Memorial Hall, a member of the Brattleboro Woman's Chorus, and attended her beloved St. Mary's In-The-Mountains Episcopal Church. Jeanne was a world traveler, she was an instructor in Scottish Highland Country Dancing and loved all things Scottish. She is survived by cousins Linda Eminson and her husband Thomas and their daughter Dawn Svor all of Round Rock, TX, cousins in Ohio, Florida, Washington State and Pennsylvania, special friends Elizabeth McEwen and Liz Marshall of Wilmington, and Zachary Dziedzic of Baltimore, and numerous close friends in Vermont, and all over the world.
