Jesse E. Moon

Jesse E. Moon, 76, a resident of Applegate Drive passed away February 2, 2015 at his home. Jesse was born in Bennington on December 27, 1938 the son of the late Jesse W. and Catherine (Davis) Moon. He attended Bennington schools, graduating from Bennington High School. Before moving to Pamona, California for over thirty years in the mid 1970's, Jesse worked for area mills including Benmont Paper. Jesse was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Eagles Lodge in Pamona. Jesse loved to fish, pitch horseshoes, spending time watching the horses at Saratoga Race Track and was an avid New England Patriot football fan, He enjoyed cooking, listening to country music and loved animals, especially dogs. Jesse is survived by his children Daniel Francoeur and his wife Michelle, David Moon and his wife Carolyn, Randall Moon, Jesse J. Francoeur all of Bennington and Nicole Lemaire of Shaftsbury, brothers James and Gerald Moon of Bennington, sister Jean Jones of Bennington, twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Joan Peacock. Funeral services for Jesse will be private. There are no visiting hours.
