Jesse T. Nelson, 41, a resident of Morrisville Vermont, after bravely facing brain cancer for 6 years, passed away November 21, 2022. He was surrounded by his family in Bennington. Jesse was born in Springfield, VT on November 2, 1981.
Jesse was dedicated to his family; he was a devoted husband and father and loved them beyond description. Jesse had a magnetic personality, a spirited sense of humor and a sarcastic wit.
Jesse was the Project Manager and Lead Integrator for 17 years at Vermont Electronics in Stowe, VT. He appreciated all Sci-Fi but was truly fanatic about Star Trek and vacationed in the Caribbean on several themed cruises with his wife and children. Jesse enjoyed playing video games, building Lego sets, movies, music of all genre, good food and drink.
Jesse is survived by his wife Melinda (Snyder) Nelson, his children Grace and Gale Nelson, his mother Darleen (Houghton) Nelson of Barre, VT, his grandmother Sandy Nelson of Tennessee, his brother Eric Nelson-Brown of Texas, his aunts and uncles Leigh and Mike Eddy of Rhode Island, Stephen and Ruth Nelson of Tennessee, nephews, cousins, aunts and a close family of Snyder/Harbour/Kobik in-laws. He was preceded in death by his father David Nelson who passed 2013.
A time of visitation for Jesse will be held Saturday, December 10th from 11am-1pm at Hanson – Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. A reception will follow at The American Legion, 225 Northside Drive, Bennington, VT from 1:30-3:30.
