Joan Pantzer

Joan Pantzer a resident of Manchester, VT, passed away Saturday March 16, 2023 at Equinox Village at the age of 94. Joan was born in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY on July 17, 1929 to William Carter and Melissa (Pultz) Carter. She was married to her beloved husband Arthur Pantzer for over 55 years who preceded her in death. Joan is survived by her beloved son Dennis Pantzer (Madeline), grandchildren Caroline (Josh) Feldman, Michael (Alyssa) Pantzer and joyous grandchildren Piper Feldman, and Jack Pantzer. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews. Joan was an avid skier, sailor and golfer who worked along side of her husband in restaurants and Real Estate. Both enjoyed living in Florida and New York City but Vermont was their true home. We are grateful to Hospice and all the caregivers and friends who gave her comfort in her passing.
