Joanne Dupree

Joanne Dupree, 76, a resident of Spruce Street, passed away July 1, 2021 at her home. Joanne was born in Peekskill, NY on December 10, 1944 the daughter of the late Clifford and Elsie Fowler Richards and attended Lakeland High School. Joanne worked for many area businesses throughout her career including the Bowling Alley, Alfie’s, Vermont Country Store, Wooden Indian, Bagel Works and was receptionist for Doctor’s Heilemann and Pardo. She was a voracious reader, enjoyed crocheting, photography and collecting Swarovski Snowflakes. Joanne was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary 6471 in Manchester. She is survived by her children Michael Christmas of Mississippi, Shane Dupree of Massachusetts and Deborah Christmas of Manchester, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of life for Joanne will be held at the VFW in Manchester August 7, 2021 from 1-4pm.
