Joanne Barbara Garger

Joanne Barbara Garger, 83, a resident of Hagelberg Hill Road, passed away unexpectedly at her home September 20, 2023 surrounded by her family. Joanne was born in Newark, NJ on November 13, 1939 the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Werner) Stopero. She attended Westwood, New Jersey schools, graduating from Westwood High School. Joanne worked at a clothing store in New Jersey for over 3 years and then as an administrative assistant in a Real Estate Office for over 3 years. She enjoyed reading, solving cross word puzzles and spending time with her family. Joanne is survived by her husband Joseph Garger of Arlington, children Susan K. Gauger (Jack) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Joseph Garger of Westwood, NJ, Michael Garger (Elizabeth) of New York, Julianne Garger of Westwood, NJ and David Garger of Arlington, VT, her sister Anne Anderson of Dekalb Junction, NY and 4 grandchildren.
