John Richard Carmichael

John Richard Carmichael, 75, a resident of East Road, passed away September 29, 2023 at Saratoga, NY Hospital. John was born in Middletown, NY on February 4, 1948 the son of the late Kenneth and Felcia (Urbina) Carmichael and attended Middletown schools. John drove a truck for Merrill Transport, Greene’s Oil and Appollo Fuels. John enjoyed fishing, playing cards, building and solving puzzles and cross word puzzles on the computer, enjoyed listening to country music and travelling especially to Niagara Falls. John is survived by his wife of 47 years Anna Sullivan Carmichael of Shaftsbury, his son Keith Sullivan (Christine) of North Bennington, brothers Kenneth Carmichael (Virginia) of Middletown, NY and Timothy Carmichael (Cathy) of New Hampshire, his sister Bety Darling (Dan) of Vermont, grandchildren cristopher, Faith and Jordan and great grandchildren Scarlet, Catherine and Carter. He was preceded in death by his brother William and sister Nancy. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services.
