John "Pat" Hunt

John "Pat" Hunt died on December 17,2021 with his family by his side. Pat was born on October 1,1945 to his parents, J Patricia and John Hunt, in Fall River, MA. He attended school in Somerset, MA. He served in the Air Force at Malstrom AFB Montana, where he met and married Marilyn Kohut. Pat and Marilyn bought Cooper Hill Inn in 1985, bringing their family to Vermont. Pat enjoyed playing baseball, coached and umpired Little League. He was an amateur meteorologist, was passionate about music, played guitar, and loved ice cream. Pat was very proud of his children and grandchildren and of all their accomplishments. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and his children; Tim(wife Tracy), Andy(wife Lisa), Theresa, Colleen(husband Shawn), James(wife Jaime), and Katie(husband Peter); 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. Pat's siblings include Marie, Peg(husband Chet), and Tom(wife Eileen). There will be no services as requested by Pat.
