John J. Lawson

John J. Lawson 51 of Wilmington passed away Tuesday August 18, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The son of John R. and Margaret (Munko) Lawson , he was born in Stamford, CT on September 2, 1963. Following his father, John had been an aspiring carpenter and was a Carpenters Apprentice with Carpenters Local Union 210 until an accident left him unable to work. John thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes. He liked all sports and enjoyed golfing with his family and friends.He leaves his parents John and Margaret Lawson of Wilmington, sister Suzanne Zimmerman of Wilmington, brother Gari Lawson of Chelmsford, MA and sister Pam Dwyer and husband Bud of Wilmington, a niece Ashley, nephews Fran Barone and Shane Zimmerman. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 26th at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church.
