John M. H. Evans Iii

Raconteur, yachtsman and cook, John Evans, age 66, passed away after a long illness in April 2015 at home in S. Londonderry VT. John was happiest when at sea, and spent many years as mate or skipper of chartered yachts off the Bahamas. He later became a short order chef at inns in Southern VT. Raised in Albany NY, John attended the Albany Academy and Shaker High School. He is the son of the late Peggy Stedman of Albany, and is survived by his sister Mimi Evans of Edgewater NJ, his nephews Gordon Kindlon and Lee Kindlon and his niece Bailey Kindlon.
