John Shores

John A. Shores, a resident of Kansas Road, passed away September 14, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. John was born in Manchester, VT on October 27, 1958 the son of Alvin Shores, Sr. and Noreen Bourn and attended local schools. In his earlier years, John worked as a steel worker and then went on to own and operate a masonry business. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, being with his animals and having a nice ice cold Budweiser with his friends. He enjoyed listening to country music, was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his family. John is survived by his wife Betty (Bourn) Shores of Sunderland, daughters Sierra Mallory and Nicole Betit, his son John Shores, his mother Noreen Shores, siblings Shane Shores, Mary Shores, Corey Shores Jean Wall, Kelly Hernandez, Wendy Strobel , Peggy Lee Shores and Scottie Frederick and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Alvin Shores, Sr., brothers Larry, Bucky and David Shores and his sister Casey Shores. Funeral services for John will be held Friday September 29, 2017 at 3pm at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home 34 Park Place Manchester Center, VT. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in John's memory may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, c/o Brewster-Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 885 Manchester center, VT. Funeral services for John will be held Friday September 29, 2017 at 3pm at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home 34 Park Place Manchester Center, VT. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours.
