John C. Ward

John C. Ward, 63, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2024. He is now reunited with his loving wife, Mary.

Born and raised in Arlington, Vermont, John was known for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He dedicated his life to his craft, working as a skilled carpenter, and as a loving father and husband. One that made everyone feel so loved.

His special qualities shone through in the way he was always there to support you. He was the kind of person who you could always count on, and his presence brought comfort and security to those around him.

Survived by his two devoted daughters, Jessica (Dana) and Amy, who will forever cherish the lessons and love he always gave. He also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren: Ashton, Carson, Alexis, Javon, Hayden, and Zyairah. Two cherished sisters, Wendy (Bryan) and Lisa. In-laws, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, whom were all loved by John and will miss his warmth, wisdom, and contagious laugh.

He was predeceased by his father, Hector; father-in-law, Ralph; brothers, Paul and Alan (Fuji); chosen brothers, Jeff, Brian, and Dennis; and two nephews, Bill and Travis, all of whom he held dear in his heart. Known for his sweet soul and the immense love he shared; John touched the lives of many. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His love was a guiding light in our lives, and his memory will continue to warm our hearts. Forever remembered and missed.

We invite all who knew and loved John to join us in celebrating his life at 1610 Depot St. in Manchester, VT, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles from 2 pm to 6 pm on October 26th. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm. Your presence and memories will be greatly appreciated during this time of remembrance.
