Joseph Corbosiero, 67, a resident of Plumb Road, passed away April 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.Joe was born in Pittsfield, MA on February 8, 1949 the son of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Jones) Corbosiero and attended local school and McCann Technical School in North Adams. Joe worked as a house painter for many years which included working for Charlie Betit Painting Company, Pete Ellis, James Galvin and the Crafts Inn where he was their personal painter from outside painting to painting rooms. Joe enjoyed fishing, panning for gold and hidden treasures, traveling, was a NASCAR fan and a fan of Dale Earnhardt and Ryan Newman. He was a football fan of the Indianapolis Colts, loved planting seeds and watching what was planted grow and cherished times spent with his family. Joe is survived by his partner Shirlee Sullivan of Whitingham, sons Scott Corbosiero of North Adams, Michael Corbosiero of Naples, FL, Adam Sullivan of Brattleboro, VT, and Jonathan Corbosiero of Whitingham, his daughter Haleigh Corbosiero and her fiance Jeff Pahkala of Whitingham, brother Paul Corbosiero and his fiance Cheryl Gilbert of Cheshire, MA sisters Rosemary Walker and her husband Bill of Winterville, NC and Sandra Gilley of Maryville, TN, ten grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday April 16th from 1pm--4pm located at the Jacksonville Municipal Center. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Joe's memory may be made to The Wings Program at Twin Valley Elementary School or the Guy Hawkins cancer Fund, c/o Covey Allen & Shea Funeral Home P.O.
