Joyce Ann Lemieux

Mrs. Joyce A. Lemieux, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 14, 2016 at Brookdale at Fillmore Pond following a brief illness. The daughter of Robert Turner and Vanessa (Shields) Turner, she was born in Greenfield, MA on January 20, 1941. Joyce grew up in Bennington VT, Quincy and Greenfield MA. She had resided in Sarasota, Florida since 1987 working as a private duty nurse. She returned to Bennington recently for health reasons. In earlier years she was co-owner of Wheels N Motion roller skating rink in Bennington. Joyce enjoyed playing bridge, cards, crafts, cross stitch and traveling. She absolutely loved living in Florida, her grandchildren and family. She leaves her daughter Denise (Justin) Kobelia of Bennington, sons Brian (Pam) Lemieux of Bennington and Jeffrey (Lisa) Lemieux of North Port, FL, grandchildren Erin, Shawn, Brett, Mikayla, Jack, Grace and Vance, three great grandchildren, a half brother Michael Bethel of Bennington, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joyce was predeceased by her significant other Don Doer in 2015, her parents, brothers Ronald and Kenneth Turner and former husband Leon Lemieux. At Joyce's request services will be private and held at a later date.
