Judy J. Briggs

Judy J. Briggs, 65 of Arlington VT, formerly of Northwest Montana and longtime resident of Dutchess County NY, passed away at home April 28, 2016 after a 3-year battle with Cancer.Born September, 1950 in Poughkeepsie NY, Judy was an Arlington High School graduate who spent her career working as a licensed Cosmetologist. Before retirement Judy also worked in activities and on the front desk at Eden Park nursing home in Poughkeepsie, a position she loved that allowed her to bring joy to many residents and their families.Judy was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who was known for her joyful spirit, fun loving attitude, creative spark and most of all the warmth and love she spread wherever she went.She is survived by her daughter Kim Briggs of Salt Point NY and her sister and brother-in-law Marilou and John Payne of Hudson NY as well as a large extended family.No services will be held in accordance with her wishes, but donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
