Judy B. Stevens, 77, of Bennington, Vermont, passed away following a brief illness on October 14, 2023. Judy was born to the late George and Mabel (Farster) Beers on August 9, 1946 in Templeton, Pennsylvania. Following living in Templton, Judy also spent her earlier years in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. After high school, Judy attended nursing school at Pittsburgh College. Judy worked for many years in the United States Army Reserves; working in various departments. She retired in 2006 after serving for 32 years. Upon retiring, Judy spent her time traveling as well as tending to her garden. Judy loved her dog Toby Tiger as well as her cat Tanya. Judy is survived by her two sons Kurtis and David A. (Cheyenne Gonnelly) Stevens, sisters Barbara (F. Edward) Dickey, brothers Allen Beers and Ronald Lee (Ruthie) McKelvey, granddaughter Ava Grenier-Stevens, and several nieces and nephews. Judy is predeceased by her husband David Stevens, daughter Angela Stevens, and brother Robert Beers. A graveside service will be held on November 11, 2023 at 11am at White Chapel Cemetery.
