June Mone

June Carol Mone, 65 a resident of East Arlington Road passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Roy Davis and Clarissa (Waring) Davis who survives. June was born in Stamford, CT on June 10, 1952 and was a graduate of Stamford High School. June married Anthony Mone at St. Paul's Catholic Church on July 27, 1973. She worked at the Mack Molding Company from 1972 until 1976 when she began working for the Orvis Company. She was a dedicated employee of the company for 41 years. June enjoyed spending her leisure time reading books on her kindle, watching her favorite television shows - Dancing With the Stars, Judge Judy, cooking shows and Love it or List it. She loved watching parades and doing plastic needlework, however her greatest joy was time with her family especially her four grandchildren, Kierstyn and Kyle Hess and Brennen and Juliana Mone. June leaves her mother Clarissa Davis of Stamford, CT, husband Tony Mone Sr. of Arlington, son Tony Mone Jr. of Troy, NY, daughter Angela Hess and her husband Travis of Arlington. Brothers Ricky Davis of Stamford, CT and Bobby Davis of Torrington, CT, sisters Patty Franco , Peggy Gautrau and Susie Hunter all of Stamford, CT, Beej Fuda of Norwalk, CT, Marion Clayburn and Cathy Lynch both of Fairfield, CT and Barbara Lyons of Fairfield, OH. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Nelson and Roy "Butch" Davis. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 25 from 11-2pm at the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home , a prayer service will be held at 1pm. A gathering will be held afterwards at the American Legion Post 69. Burial will take place at a later date in the Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland. Memorial gifts may be made to either the Arlington Rescue Squad or Arlington Fire Department in care of the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, P.O. Box 528, Arlington, VT 05250.
