Katherine Griffis

Katherine Griffis, a resident of The Fields, passed away February 11, 2020 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation Center in Bennington. Katherine was born in Manchester, VT on March 22, 1936 the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Bushee Squires. She attended Manchester schools, graduated from Burr & Burton Seminary and Putnam Memorial Nursing School in Bennington. Katherine enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Robert Brown and his wife Debbie of Sandgate, William Brown and his wife Theresa of Pownal, VT and Bonnie Morse and her husband Phillip, Sr. of Arlington, VT, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services for Katherine will be held later in the spring in Factory Point Cemetery in Manchester. There are no visiting hours.
