Katherine A. (Fleming) Sendra

Katherine A.(Fleming) Sendra,94 a longtime resident of Wells Vt & formerly of Manchester Vt , died Friday November 12 ,2021 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sendra was born March 21, 1927 in Manchester Vt , one of 10 children of Ralph & Edna ( Demars) Fleming. She attended grammar school in Manchester & Burr & Burton Seminary High School. She married Vincent W. Sendra of Danby Vt on July 20, 1946. The Sendra's owned & operated Sendra's Market for 27 years. They sold it in 1988 and retired to the couple's cottage on Lake St Catherine in Wells Vt. Kathy was a member of the Catholic daughters and a Life member of VFW Auxiliary 6471 . She was on many bowling teams and later took up golfing. She also loved to garden and had a green thumb. But her favorite time was spending time with family & friends at the lake. Survivors include her (2) daughters: Mary ( Michael) Senecal of Manchester Vt, Susan (Michael) Kasuba of Wells Vt Grandchildren: Vincent Sendra of Berkley CA, Shaun Senecal of St Albans Vt, Ryley Senecal of Manchester VT, daughter in law Joy Sendra of Wells Vt, Brother Thomas (Ann) Fleming of Bethney CT, Also many nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent Sendra & her son Vincent Lee Sendra . A private mass of Christian death and burial will be private at the request of the family. A graveside service will be held Thursday November 18, 2021 at 12;30 at Danby Scottsville Cemetery.
