Kathleen P. Nichols

Kathleen P. Nichols, 79, a resident of Gage Street, passed away Tuesday November 13, 2018 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation. Kathleen was born in Rutland, VT on May 27, 1939 the daughter of the late Carlton and Alice Lancour Rockwell and attended local schools. Kathleen worked for the Thompson Mill for 18 years and Polygraphic in North Bennington for 6 years. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, bowling in leagues and attending bowling tournaments out of state. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Moose Club in Bennington and a former member of St. John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church in North Bennington. Kathleen is survived by nieces Darlene O'Dell of Rutland, Debbie Guyette of Rutland, Donna Martin, Pauline Burdge, Brenda Martin all of Bennington and Marjorie Sweet of Oklahoma, her lifelong friend Gail Arasim of Bennington and several cousins, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 4 brothers a nephew and a cousin. Funeral services for Kathleen will be held Friday November 16, 2018 at 11:30am at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Interment will follow in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday evening November 15, 2018 from 5-7pm.
