Kenneth Cordeau, 65 passed away peacefully on Monday November 2, 2015 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Ken was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on August 20, 1950, he was the son of Joseph and Nora (Vautour) Cordeau. Following high school he entered the US Army , where he was assigned to a base in Germany during the Vietnam War. In earlier years he had been employed as a supervisor in a cardboard manufacturing plant in Massachusetts. An avid golfer he was a member of the Mt. Anthony Country Club where he worked in the Pro Shop , he had traveled to Scotland to play at world renowned St. Andrews. Ken also enjoyed mountain climbing, surfing and being with his grandchildren. Ken was predeceased by his wife Amy (Frost) Cordeau, he leaves a daughter Danielle Cordeau of Bennington, sister Susan Cordeau and fiance Billy Roberts of North Bennington, grandchildren Travis Cordeau, Jay Roberts Cordeau and Khloe Roberts Cordeau. Memorial services will be held on Saturday November 7 at 11am at the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to Relay for Life in care of the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, 213 West Main Street, Bennington.
