Leo Rifenburgh, Jr.

Leo G. Rifenburgh, Jr., 64, a resident of Hoosick Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, passed away June 20, 2018 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Leo was born in Bennington on June 5, 1954 the son of the late Leo G. Rifenburgh, Sr. and Eilleen Bahan and attended local schools. Leo worked as a licensed plumber in New Hampshire for 25 years. Leo was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching football and baseball and was an avid New York Giant football fan and New York Yankee baseball fan. He enjoyed throwing darts, traveling to his cousins home and spending time with his family. Leo is survived by his brother Bryan Rifenburgh of Hoosick Falls, NY, sister-in-law Dawn Rifenburgh of Bennington, step grandson Kyle O'Keefe and many uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Rifenburgh. A celebration of Leo's life will take place Saturday July 7, 2018 at 1pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Interment will be private.
