Leon Hall, 71, a resident of Charles Street, passed away December 17, 2024 at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Leon was born in Bennington on January 28, 1953 the son of the late Leon F. and Pauline Hall. Leon attended Arlington schools, graduating from Arlington Memorial High School. He worked as a plumber, mechanic and could fix a wiring harness on any vehicle. He Enjoyed fixing and building computers and gaming and owned and operated Lee’s Electronics in Bennington. Leon enjoyed fishing, listening to country and old rock & roll music and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Janice Crandall of Bennington, his son Leon Hall, Jr. (Deborah) and grandchildren Aiden and Gavin Hall all of Kissimmee, Florida, brothers Harry Harmon (Rhonda) and Richard Harmon (Melody) of Shaftsbury, sisters Virginia Barber (David) of North Bennington and Doris Slaughter (Robert) of Virginia, grandchildren Grace Crandall, Eli Crandall, Tiffany Gaghich, Gail Stickle, Shane Blair, Dakota Blair, Dustin Blair, daughter-in-law Erica Lefevre, several nephews and nieces and very special friends Trish Murphy, Ron Bovie Rick Roy Sr, Rick Roy Jr and Brad Roy and Randy Blair, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister Helen Mahapatra, brothers Michael Harmon and George Knights and son Shawn Crandall, grandchildren Randy Blair Jr, Shanna Blair, and Harley Blair and Kaleb Blair. A celebration of life for Leon will be held January 10, 2025 from 3:30 to 5pm at Hanson Walbridge & Shea 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT.
