Linda Parker Bovey, of Manchester, Vermont passed quietly and peacefully on December 31, 2015. Daughter of Ralph and Barbara Parker and sister to Louise Wyman, Sandra Frost, Hank Parker and Marilyn Parker. The family enjoyed many years of life on Bromley Farm in Peru, Vermont. Linda was blessed with a childhood experienced by few. Linda worked as a server for many years in Manchester. She was a loving, caring, humorous soul who easily made friends wherever she went. Linda enjoyed drawing, nature and spending time on Facebook. Linda had a true passion for being in the sun. She was proud to be born and raised in Vermont. However, Linda's greatest pride and joy was her family.Linda is survived by her two sisters; Louise Wyman and Sandra Frost as well as her children and their spouses; Karl "Ted" Bovey and JP Wickert, Ralph "Pidge" and Tammy Bovey, Harley Bovey, Barbara Towsley and Mark Eaton, Brian Bovey and Kathy Moffit, and Donni Bovey. Grandchildren; Christine, Sarah, Stephen, Kyle, Cassie, Hannah, Heather, Tyler, Conner, Avery and Lily as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her parents; Ralph and Barbara Parker, brother, Henry "Hank" Parker, sister Marilyn Parker, husband, Donald Bovey Sr., son, Donald Scott Bovey and daughter, Dawn Marie "Eeffie" Bovey Roberts. Linda's wish was not to have a formal wake or funeral. The family would like to invite her friends to join us in, "A Celebration of Linda's Life", which will be held at the VFW, in Manchester Center, on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to; Rutland County Women's Network and Shelter, PO Box 313, Rutland, VT 05702 Linda's wish was not to have a formal wake or funeral. The family would like to invite her friends to join us in, "A Celebration of Linda's Life", which will be held at the VFW, in Manchester Center, on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm.
