Linda S. Ennis

Linda S. Ennis, 65, a resident of Sunderland Hill Road, passed away April 27, 2015 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Proctor, Vermont on march 15, 1950 the daughter of Carl and Beverley (Crawford) Grover and attended local school. Linda worked as a line cook for over thirty years for the Buttery Restaurant, Bob's Diner and other area restaurants. Linda enjoyed reading, walking, crocheting quilts and feeding her birds. She enjoyed traveling especially to Las Vegas, California, Mexico and Maine and loved taking her grand daughter to Disney World. She enjoyed listening to country music and was a NASCAR fan of Dale Jarrett and most recently Kyle Busch. Linda loved her home and cherished times spent with her family. Linda is survived by her husband Anthony Ennis, Sr., of Sunderland her sons Anthony Ennis, Jr. of Arlington and George Ennis and his wife Shannon of West Pawlet, brother Douglas Grover of Manchester, Vermont, sister Carolyn Stefanick of Stamford, Vermont, grand daughter Courtney Ennis and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Steven Grover who passed away when he was a child. Funeral services for Linda will be held Saturday May 2, 2015 at 11am at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Historic Route 7A. Interment will follow in Ira Allen Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Friday evening May 1, 2015 from 6-8pm when the family will be in attendance.
