Louis W. Skidmore

Louis W. Skidmore,, 60 a resident of Bruce Lane passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020 in Rutland. The son of William and Ella May (Taft) Skidmore he was born in Bennington on September 5, 1959. He grew up with his sister and brother in law Rosie and Donald Phillips and attended Danby schools. Louis worked hard to supply area residents with firewood for the winter and used a tractor for his mowing jobs. He had enjoyed hunting and playing bingo. He leaves his sister and brother in law Rosie and Donald Phillips of Danby , he was predeceased by a sister Jane Clark. Services will be held at the family lot in Maple Hill Cemetery on Monday July 6 at 10am.
