Loyal Rottler Sr.

Loyal Richard Rottler Sr. age 57 passed away on Monday, August 21st at Crescent Manor Nursing Home in Bennington, VT. Loyal was born February 5, 1960 to the late Florence May Wilson and Warren Davis and his stepfather the late Douglas Shand. Loyal will be remembered for his love of pizza, his huge smile, him always asking what year it was and who can forget those big blue eyes. Loyal enjoyed playing Bingo (if you asked him he never cheated) and always trying to give his daughter his box of miscellaneous bingo winnings. Loyal loved making people laugh, singing and spending time with family and friends. Loyal was married to the late Ella Crandall Rottler.Loyal is survived by his daughter Barb Barber, her husband Shawn Lofaro and their 3 children: Madison Lofaro, Holden Lofaro and Evalyin Lofaro. Loyal is predeceased by his son Loyal R. Rottler Jr. Loyal leaves behind 5 siblings Cindy Shand, Pamela Burgher, Elizabeth Rottler, Steve Shand, and John Washburn and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his pizza delivery guy Doug Krauss. A Memorial service will be held on Friday August 25th at 3pm at the Beech Street FireHouse in Bennington.The burial will take place Saturday August 26th at Ira Allen Cemetery in Arlington at lOam.
