Lucinda Bangs Cooper, 82, a resident of West Road passed away January 17, 2016 at her home. Lucinda was born in New Haven, Ct on August 20, 1933 the daughter of Jacob Howell and Betty ( Babcock) Bangs. She received her education in New Jersey schools, graduating from Ridgewood High School, then earning her Associate Degree from Cazenovia College. Lucinda worked as an advertising assistant for many years. Following her marriage she relocated with her husband to Saudi Arabia, leaving after the action of "Desert Storm" to return to Sushan, New York where her father had been the owner-operator of the J.B. Rice, Jr. seed company, then moving to Vermont several years later. Lucinda was an artist who loved painting. She enjoyed jewelry and working on crossword puzzles. She traveled all over the world, was an accomplished piano player and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Clifford Cooper of Manchester whom she married November, 1983, beloved niece Suzanna Nepley and husband David of Philadelphia and nephew Jay Sulli and wife Debbie of Phoenixville, PA, great niece Francesca Sulli, step son Clifford Cooper III and his wife Kelly of Whitehouse Station, NJ, step daughters Carly Camacho and her husband Marco of Dallas, TX and Hallie Knudson and her husband Steven of Charleston, SC, sister Beverly Sulli of Pennsylvania, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. At the request of the family funeral services will be held in the spring.
