Mabel A. Myers

Mabel A. Myers, 74, a resident of Johnson Hill Road in Hoosick Falls, New York, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation. Mabel was born in Bennington on July 26, 1940 the daughter of the late Paul L. and Hazel Agnes(Bevis) Myers and attended local schools. Along with her husband Ronald, Mable was employed as a manager of the former Charleston Mill Store in Bennington and in her later years worked in quality control at Tansitor Electronics. She was a charter member of the former Mt. Anthony Lioness Club. Mabel enjoyed reading, cooking and traveling, especially camping trips. She loved her home and cherished times spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Mabel is survived by her husband Ronald Paul Myers of Bennington whom she married in South Shaftsbury November 16, 1957, children Raymond A. Myers and his wife Joann of Bennington and Cheryl L. LaRoche and her husband James of Bennington, grandchildren Robert P. Church of Hoosick Falls, New York and Andrew P. Myers and Ethan C. Myers both of Bennington, Great Grandson Kenneth Myers, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister Pauline who died in infancy. At the request of the family funeral services will be private. There are no visiting hours.
