Marilyn Alice (Peters) Rhodes

Marilyn Alice (Peters) Rhodes, 90, a resident of Pownal, VT, passed away at home on January 8, 2022. Marilyn was born to the late Betrand and Gladys (Cook) Peters in North Adams, Massachusetts on June 18, 1932. Upon graduating high school, Marilyn married the late Harold “Joe” Rhodes. Marilyn worked as an assembler for a local wire company. She was often found with book in her hand, enjoying a cozy mystery, in her free time. She also valued spending time with her family and being a part of the Faith Church Vermont family. Marilyn is survived by her three children, Thomas Rhodes, Bonnie Cutler, Peter H. Rhodes (Claudia), sister-in-law Grace Peters, and grandchildren David Cutler (Sandra) Daniel Cutler (Regina) Deborah Williams (Darrel). Julie Rhodes Shade Austin Rhodes Haytko (Fallyn), great-grandchildren Kayla, Connor, Aimee, Matthew, Samantha, Dennis, Haley and Caley, great-great-grandchildren Alan and Zoe and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predecesed in death by brothers Donald (Grace) Peters and sister Phyllis (Norman) Belleau, and son-in-law Bruce D. Cutler. At Marilyn’s request, there will be no formal funeral services.
