Marjorie Dix

Marjorie A. Dix, 82, recently of Pine Heights in Brattleboro, died January 18, 2017 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. A longtime resident of Wilmington, then Readsboro, VT, Marge was born at home in Wilmington on March 7, 1934 the daughter of the late George and Nancy (Bly) Hoyt. On September 21, 1956 she married Richard A. Dix. Rip died in 1983. She was also predeceased by her brother George W. Hoyt, Jr and sister Judith Kickery. Marge is survived by her daughter Sherry, son-in-lay Larry, grandchildren Jen and Lucas Landman, sisters Vivian Dubiel and Lucinda Reynolds, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special note of appreciation to Albert Betit and Betsy Boyington for helping Marge continue living in her own apartment until this last August.
