Maryann Morse Ward

MaryAnn Morse Ward, age 58 passes away peacefully October 1. 2021 following a lengthy battle with health issues. She was born March 13,1963 in Bennington, VT to Lucille and Ralph Morse Jr. She married and spent her life with her husband of 40 years John Ward. Mary was born and raised in Southern Vermont where she attended grade and high school. She graduated from AMHS in 1981. Mary loved to work customer service throughout her young life, before she left the workforce she was employed at Stewarts for many years, as well as managing several Dunkin Donut locations in Wilmington, NC. She had a special place in her heart for her friend and employer at the former Chippenhook corner store in East Arlington where she spent several years. She also worked at the Hill Farm Inn. Mary was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her daughters and embraced every moment she could with them. She played an exceptional role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. She is the loving and devoted wife of John Ward, loving and devoted mother of Jessica (Dana) Towsley and Amy Ward. She was predeceased by her infant son Dylan James. The equally devoted and loving Nana to Ashton, Carson, Alexis, Javon and Hayden. The loving daughter of Lucille and the late Ralph Morse Jr. The adored sister of Becky, Linda. Rose, Billy and their late brother Brian. An amazing aunt to several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Mary IS the strongest woman we've ever loved. At the request of Mary there will be no services or calling hours. There will be a celebration of Mary’s Life held at The American Legion in Arlington, VT Sunday October 10, 2021 from 1pm-4pm, Cynthia Kilburn will be speaking on behalf of the family at 2pm.
