Michael L Munson

Michael L Munson of Peru VT died tragically in a cycling accident on July 10th at the age of 51. Loving father of Emilie and Lucy Munson, cherished fiance of Tamara Rouse, beloved son of Penny Munson and the late Reverdy Munson and devoted brother of Paul Munson. Michael was a successful lawyer and wealth manager at JP Morgan but his greatest joy was spending time celebrating life with family and friends. He loved traveling the world and with each adventure made countless friends along the way. An outdoor enthusiast, he could frequently be found hiking, skiing, boating and cycling with the people he loved most. A memorial service honoring Michael's life will be held at the Peru Congregational Church, Peru VT, on Saturday July 18th at 1pm. For those traveling from out of town, rooms are available at The Lodge at Bromley in Peru VT - ask for "Tamara Group". In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Peru Congregational Church to establish and maintain a Memorial Garden and support Church programs.
