Myron Capen

Myron Capen, 76, a resident of Landgrove Road, passed away December 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Myron was born in Landgrove on April 10, 1941 the son of the late Howard Capen and Ruby Beers and attended local school. Myron worked at Smith Lumber Company for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, whittling, conversations with his family and friends and listening to country music. Myron is survived by his wife Helen (Lewis) Capen whom he married in Springfield, VT on June 27, 1987, daughter Jennifer Jane Haskins of Cambridge, NY, step sons Jason Cobb and his wife Jennifer LaBarge of Springfield, VT, Robert Hall of Florida and Edward Hall, Jr and his wife Monica of Florida, step-daughters Dorothy Hall of Londonderry, Donna Abbott and her husband Jerry of West Rutland and Nancy Capen and her husband Jason of Londonderry, brothers Howard Capen of Bradford, VT, Oscar Capen and his wife Rosie of Dorset, VT and Burt Capen of Londonderry, sisters Lois Goddard of Chester, VT and Ruby Capen of Andover, VT, grandchildren Josh and Allen Haskins, 12 step-grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
