Nancy J. Mason

Nancy J. Mason, 66, a resident of Robinson Avenue, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born in Bennington on September 27, 1953 the daughter of Betty Watson Lackey and the late Howard Lackey. She attended Bennington schools and was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School. Nancy worked as a production worker for many years at Kaman Composites and for 30 years at Stanley Tools. She cherished time spent in her home with her family and her dogs Maxine and Bubba. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach especially Ocean City, Maryland to see the wild horses. Nancy is survived by her husband Patrick Mason whom she married in Bennington on February 2, 1990; her children Naomi Peterson and her husband Orville, Nicole Paquette and her husband Greg, Kris Mason (Steve), David Mason and his wife Missy all of Bennington; her brother Bruce Lackey of White Creek, NY, sister Jane Corriveau and her husband Robert of Bennington; grandchildren Lacey, Garrett, Haley and Aubrie and her great grandchildren Bane and Ella. Funeral services for Nancy will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Interment will follow in the family lot in White Chapel Cemetery. A visiting hour at the funeral home will be from 1-2pm one hour prior to the service.
