Noreen L. Becker, 73, a resident of Warm Brook Road, passed away November 12, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Noreen was born in Bennington on March 5, 1951 the daughter of the late Newman and Jean (Guber) Lewis. She attended Sunderland and Arlington schools, graduating from Arlington Memorial High School. Noreen worked as a sewer for C.B. Sports in Bennington and then as a housekeeper at CLR in Bennington for many years. Noreen enjoyed crocheting, knitting, photography, travelling with her husband to Maine, listening to all kinds of music especially country music and played base drum for the Yankee Doodles Marching Band. Noreen is survived by her daughter Jessica Goings (Kenneth) of Bennington, sisters Andrea Finerty (Mike) of Poultney, Lorraine Croft of Arlington and Tanya Mazza of Essex Junction and her grandchildren Kyle, Korey and Kaylee. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore W. Becker. A celebration of Noreen’s life will be held Wednesday November 20, 2024 from 4-6pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Historic Route 7A Arlington, VT. Interment will be held in the spring.
