Pamela Mary Addison passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 at Equinox Terrace where she had been a resident since 2013. The daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Blake) Druitt she was born in Barmouth, Wales , U.K. on April 27, 1924. Pamela moved to Vermont from California in 1991 with her late husband, renowned Oscar-winning film composer, John Addison. The couple enjoyed many happy years in Bennington and later Manchester. A keen gardener, painter and homemaker, she loved her cats, music and the arts, and was never happier than when listening to her husband John playing her favourite songs on the piano. She enjoyed painting classes, art lectures, keep fit classes and spending time in her beloved garden with her many friends. Pamela also found great pleasure in visiting her children and grandchildren in England and France. She leaves her sons Daniel Addison, Jonathan Addison, and Rex Birchenough, and daughters Lucinda Sanderson and Sandra Stapleton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 12 at 11am at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home, 34 Park Place in Manchester Center. She will return to the U.K. along with her husband John for interment. Memorial gifts in her name may be given to Second Chance Animal Center c/o Brewster-Shea Funeral Services, P.O. Box 885 Manchester Center, VT 05255 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 12 at 11am at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home, 34 Park Place in Manchester Center. She will return to the U.K. along with her husband John for interment.
