Patricia Katrick

Patricia A. Katrick, 71, a resident of White Tail Run, passed away January 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Pat was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 23, 1946 the daughter of the late Maurice and Ilene (Lewis) Leavy and attended Bridgeport schools. Pat worked as a secretary for the family business for many years, Jim Katrick and Sons Septic and Construction as well as the Ladies Sodality of St Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Arlington. She volunteered her time cleaning Saint Margaret Mary Church and cared for Father George Dupuis. Pat was very devoted to her faith. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality and member of the Catholic Daughters at St. Margaret Mary. She frequently took trips to the Shrine in Stockbridge, MA, was a former Lecture at Church and always attended daily mass. Pat enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning and going camping at the lake. She enjoyed listening to Catholic Hymns, was an avid reader and cherished times spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Pat is survived by her husband Jim Katrick of Arlington whom she married July 24, 1965 in Bridgeport, CT, children David Katrick and his wife Edith and Diane Duffany and her husband Peter, Jr all of Arlington, brothers Darin Leavy of Arlington and his wife Rhonda and Christopher Leavy of DeLand, FL, sisters Bonnie Vaccaro and her husband John of Tamiment, PA and Maura James of East Stroudsburg, PA, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Leavy. A Mass of Christian death and burial will be celebrated Tuesday January 30, 2018 at Christ Our Savior Parish (St Paul Catholic Church) in Manchester at 10am. Interment will be held in the family lot in St. Columbans Cemetery in Arlington. Visiting hours will be held Monday January 29, 2018 from 5-7pm at Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, Route 7A Arlington, VT. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Pat's memory may be made to the St Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, c/o Hanson Walbridge & Shea Arlington Chapel P.O. Box 528 Arlington, VT 05250.
