Patrick J. Derosia Jr.

Patrick J. Derosia Jr., 42 a resident of Warm Brook Road passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday August 21, 2016. PJ was born in Bennington on August 5, 1974, he was the son of the late Patrick J. Derosia Sr and Sharon (Nesbitt) Derosia , his father predeceased him on May 25, 2015. PJ grew up in Arlington where he graduated from Arlington High School in 1993, while in high school, he played many sports including basketball, baseball and soccer.An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting , either with a rifle or bow and was already prepared for this hunting season, he also enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He will be remembered as a wonderful son and great friend to many. PJ had worked for McDermott Masonry,( both Leroy and Roy), Vermont Pool Service and was considered a "jack of all trades". Most recently he worked with Max Grout Lawn Service.He leaves his mother Sharon Derosia of Arlington, uncle Ralph Nesbitt of Shaftsbury, cousins Albert McDermott and Samantha Hill and their children Holly, Hunter, Mason and Maia, Harry McDermott, Michael McDermott and his partner Jessie Almosnino, aunt Judy Bragg and her sons James Derosia and John Derosia, aunt Janet Derosia, many friends and cousins. In addition to his father , he was predeceased by his grandparents Edward and Margaret Derosia and Ralph and Nora Nesbitt, aunt Molly McDermott, uncles Harry McDermott and Charles Derosia. Patrick liked to keep things simple, there will be no services, to honor his memory please think of him as you go hunting , fishing or just walking with nature.
