Patrick Joseph Derosia, Sr.

Patrick Joseph Derosia, Sr., 64 a resident of Warm Brook Road in Arlington passed away on May 25, 2015.Pat was born on February 22, 1951 in Bennington to the late Edward (Nig) and Margaret (McDevitt) Derosia. He later graduated from Arlington Memorial High, Class of 1969. Pat married Sharon Louise Nesbitt on August 18, 1972 at the Federated Church of East Arlington. He had been employed at Mack Molding of Arlington for several years until the time of his death.Pat was a good hard-working man who loved life and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and playing his violin. He was also a talented water color artist and was very proud of being a co-designer of the Vermont State Quarter. Survivors include his wife, Sharon, son Patrick Jr. (P.J.), brother in law Ralph Nesbitt of Shaftsbury, nieces, nephews, several cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents, Pat was predeceased by his sister Molly and brother Charles. At Pat's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.Donations in Pat's memory can be made to the Arlington Rescue Squad, Arlington Fire Department, Second Chance Animal Center or the American Red Cross in care of the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, P.O.
