Pearl Joyce Green

Pearl Joyce Green, 93, a resident of Whitingham, passed away peacefully in her sleep December 18, 2023. Pearl was born in Whitingham, VT on May 3, 1930 the daughter of the late Truman and Alice (Harvey) Powers, she attended "The Schoolhouse" in Whitingham. Pearl was a seamstress and worked at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She was devout to her Christian Faith and was a member of the Brattleboro Church of Christ. Pearl enjoyed sewing, knitting, traveling to be with her children and cherished times spent with her family. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Robert Green and daughter in law, Linda Green. Pearl is survived by her children, Robert Green of Wilmington, VT, Ellen (Mark) Starr of Catskill, NY, Myrna (Phillip) Culver of Addison, VT, Marcia (Daniel) Nelson of Wilmington, VT, Mitchell (Dora) Green of Halifax, VT, Diana (John) Kentfield of Westminster, VT, Jennifer (Scott) Grover of Burlington, Iowa, Beth Green of Whitingham, VT, Brian (Rebekah) Green of Whitingham, VT and Wanda Green of New Haven, VT, 42 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Pearl will be held December 23rd, 2023 at the Municipal Center in Jacksonville, VT. Visiting hours will be from 11-12 pm followed by her Celebration of Life Service from 12-1 pm with lunch to follow.
