Ralph Deponte, Sr

Ralph DePonte, Sr. 87 a resident of Port St. Lucie, Fl. passed away August 26, 2015 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. Ralph was born in New Haven, CT on December 27, 1927 the son of Raffaele DePonte and Carmelina Mele DePonte. He was educated in New Haven schools graduating from Hillhouse High School. After High school Ralph entered the United States Navy serving his country during WWII. Ralph owned and operated the largest builder and distributor of beauty chairs for hair salons. Later in life he moved to Florida where he and his wife Geraldine worked in Real Estate and Marketing. A world traveler, he hobnobbed with ambassadors and kings and was once a guest of honor at the United Nations. But he will be mostly remembered for always working on the "BIG DEAL". Ralph is survived by his wife Chan Ly DePonte of Port St. Lucie, and son Mark DePonte and his wife Kathleen Dillon DePonte of Newfane, VT, grandchildren Damien and Angel DePonte of West Haven, CT and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Geraldine Monaco DePonte, son Ralph DePonte, Jr., grandchildren Justin and Brandon DePonte, brothers Frank and Dominic DePonte and sisters Theresa Sartini, Annette Riccitelli, Rose Coppola, and Faye Santino.There will not be any calling hours.
