Ralph F. Morse

Ralph F. Morse, 76, a resident of Kenney Farm Road, passed away February 16, 2020 at his home surrounded by his Family. Ralph was born in Bennington, VT on July 14, 1943 the son of the late Ralph S. and Mary Johnson Morse and attended local schools. Ralph worked as a logger for most of his life. He also was sexton and caretaker of Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland for many years. Ralph enjoyed truck pulling, camping especially in Mexico, NY where his camper resided, dirt biking, hunting, fishing, taking care of his property and being with is faithful dog and companion Sassy. Ralph is survived by his wife Lucille Bacon Morse whom he married December 10, 1960 in the Federated Church of East Arlington, his son William Morse of Arlington, daughters Mary Ward and her husband John of Sunderland, Becky Winchell of Sunderland, Linda Mitchell and her husband Bob of Manchester and Rose Morse of Sunderland, brothers Phil, Clem, Leslie, Terry, Mike and Robert Morse, sisters Virginia Legacy, Ruth Zinn, Glenda Casson, Patty Sweet, Patsy Joseph and Marylou Jamieson, 13 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his son Brian Morse, grandchildren William Morse and Dylan Ward, brother Leroy Morse, his sister Gloria Sheldon and son-in-law Dennis Winchell. Funeral services for Ralph will be held Thursday February 20, 2020 at 2pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Route 7A Arlington, VT. Interment will follow in Ira Allen Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral hone will be held from 1-2pm one hour prior to the service.
