Regina Russell

Regina A. Russell, 63, a resident of Bennington, passed away Monday November 9, 2015 at Bennington Health & Rehabilitation. Regina was born in Troy, NY on April 30, 1952 the daughter of John and Frances (Cummings)Russell, Jr. She received her education in Troy, graduating from Troy High School. Regina worked as a parking attendant at Albany Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed NASCAR racing and collecting NASCAR hats. Regina enjoyed going to fairs, listening to country music, was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan and cherished times spent with her grandchildren. Regina is survived by her children Bernice Borden and her husband Tim Reitz of Bennington and Richard and William Borden of Rutland, sisters Jane Marie Russell of Watervliet, NY and Diana Russell of Troy and her grandchildren Corey Elizabeth Borden, Emma Hope Reitz and Joseph James Nason . Funeral services for Regina will be held Saturday November 14, 2015 at 11am at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, Vermont. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Regina's memory may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, c/o Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home P.O.
