Renee Snyder of Manchester passed away on February 15 at the age of 95. Renee's journey began in Staten Island, after which she moved to New Jersey and California before settling in Vermont which she called home for the past 23 years.
Renee was a lover of choir and the symphony, traveling, and family. She held jobs ranging from radio station DJ to volunteer coordinator of a help hotline. Being a classical music aficionado, with background in piano and choir, Renee traveled the world with various musical groups over the years. She especially enjoyed visiting France, Carmel, Santa Barbara, and Vermont.
The family would like to express our deep appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Bromley Manor, who looked after her these past several years. Those of us who knew and loved her remember Renee as a student of the arts, who spoke her mind and fought for what she believed in, and loved her family.
Renee is survived by her son Jeff, daughters-in-law Sue and Shoko, grandchildren Charles and Christine, and 1 great-grandchild, Theodore. She will be deeply missed by her family, her caregivers, and friends.
