Richard Childs

Mr. Richard Childs a resident of North Main Street in Salem (NY) passed away peacefully at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center on Monday night January 10, 2022. Born in Manchester, Connecticut on July12,1933 he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Childs. Richard obtained his Bachelors Degree in Teaching and became an Art Teacher . He had an adventurous life, traveling extensively throughout the world , among his travels he visited South America and Central America . He was a people person making friends wherever he went and was always “full of life”. He leaves his brother Joseph Childs of Salem, sister Marion Crouteu of Connecticut and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His memory will be honored privately.
