Robert D. Secoy, Jr., a resident of Kansas Road, passed away December 19, 2017 at his home. Robert was born in Bennington on December 15, 1970 the son of Robert D. Secoy, Sr. and Georgia Mae Bourn, attended Sunderland schools and Burr and Burton Academy. Robert loved fishing and hunting. He was an avid reader and a fan of the Chicago Bears, New York Mets and Los Angeles Lakers. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, dogs and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Robert is survived by his mother Georgia Mae Secoy of Sunderland, brothers Alex Bourn and his wife Tracy of East Dorset, Derek Secoy and his wife Angela of Arlington, Travis Secoy of Sunderland and Chad Secoy and his wife Diane of Wallingford and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert D. Secoy, Sr. and his sister Rainy Secoy. Funeral services for Robert will be held Saturday January 6, 2017 at 11am at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home 34 Park Place Manchester Center, VT. Interment will be private. A visiting hour will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11am at the funeral home. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Robert's memory may be made to the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center Patient Resource Fund, c/o Brewster-Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 885 Manchester Center, Vermont 05255. Funeral services for Robert will be held Saturday January 6, 2017 at 11am at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home 34 Park Place Manchester Center, VT. Interment will be private. A visiting hour will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11am at the funeral home.
