Sharon L. Furioni

Sharon Furioni passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 16, 2025.

She was born July 1st, 1968. She grew up in Westfield MA and graduated from Westfield High School in 1986. After attending Holyoke Community College, she was

employed at Woronoco Savings Bank as a teller and Assistant Branch Manager. In 2001, after the birth of her son Cooper, Sharon relocated to Bennington, VT. She later joined Price Chopper and advanced from cashier to front end manager. She was also a dedicated participant in the annual fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation

Sharon was a “water” girl, whether it be at the beach, ocean, or river, as long as no one sat in front of her to spoil her view! Some of her favorite places were Wells Beach with her family, Ireland with her longtime friend Erika, and the many rivers of Vermont. Family vacations always created many happy memories – Hampton Beach as a child, Camping on the Battenkill in Arlington, VT, and the beaches in Kennebunk and Avalon.

Sharon leaves the light of her life, her son Cooper Everest Mason, and her sweet cat companions, Mallory, and Shirley. Sharon also leaves her loving mother, Phyllis Furioni, her siblings, James Furioni (Lynn), AnnMarie Furioni, Patty Eidinger (Scott), and Robert Furioni, all of Westfield. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Anna, David, and Jason Furioni as well as Andrew and Elyse Eidinger. Sharon joins her loving father, Angelo Furioni and sister-in-law, Shannon Furioni.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sharon’s name to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation

Visiting hours will be held Sunday January 26th from 12 - 2 pm at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St. Westfield MA with a prayer service to follow at 2 pm. www.firtionadams.com
